There is no lack of culture in Poland. Take Krakau for instance, this royal city has been added to the list of world heritages by Unesco and was also named Europe cultural capital of the year 2002.
Not far from Krakau are the saltmines of Wieliczka. Here are a restaurant and postoffice made out of salt.
On the other side of Krakau lies the historical museum of Auschwitz/ Birkenau, which is defenitely worth a visit.

A visit to Zakapone is an experience you donīt want to miss, this is the winter-sports capital and the highest city of Poland, 700 meters above sea level.
There are also several museams and art-galleries to go visit.

Bielsko-Biala used to be a textile city until that changed into car-industry. Until 1951 Bielsko-Biala were two cities.
Now a days this city is the administrative centre of the region and a cross through towards the Beskiden with Szczyrk, here itīs very suitable for skiing.
If you take a walk through Bielsko-Biala, youīll see beautiful houses and discover a scenic
village square. The restoration of the city is in progress although itīs going very slowly.
?St. Barbara?, is a charming, wooden, catholic church which was built in 1690. It is very impressive to look at.
